Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 September 2019 The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). All information (data) we receive is treated confidentially in accordance with the applicable data protection provisions and is generally not passed on to third parties unless we are legally obliged or entitled to do so, or this is done with your consent or on a contractual basis. All information is processed only for specific lawful purposes. We take appropriate measures to secure and protect the processed data. Personal data is processed either on a legal basis, to fulfil legal obligations, in the public interest, with the consent of the data subjects or on a contractual basis. Which data is processed?

3. Data storage in the web shop

Please note that, to simplify the purchasing process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator stores the IP data of the connection owner in cookies, as well as the buyer's name and address. In addition, the following data is also stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: company name (name), address, contact details, goods purchased, date of purchase. If the purchasing process is cancelled, the data stored by us is deleted. If a contract is concluded, all data from the contractual relationship is stored until the end of the statutory tax retention period (7 years). Name, address, goods purchased and date of purchase are additionally stored until the end of product liability (10 years).

4. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser on your next visit. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.

6. Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. You can cancel your newsletter subscription at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: bestellung@lifecare-essentials.com or click the unsubscribe link in the newsletter itself. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter. This revocation does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its revocation.

7. Purposes of data processing

Your data is processed for the following purposes: • To answer your enquiries • To deliver the products you ordered • To inform you about new products For enquiries, requests for information, suggestions, etc., the data you submit is processed as required for handling. This includes in particular your name, contact details, the date and subject of your enquiry, and any information provided in the individual case.

8. Legal basis

Data processing for pre-contractual measures and for the performance of contracts is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. The fulfilment of legal obligations and the enforcement of statutory provisions are based on Art. 6 (1) (c) and (e) GDPR. Where processing is carried out to safeguard our legitimate interests or those of third parties, it is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

9. Your rights

With regard to your data stored by us, you are generally entitled to the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection.
