This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) details how Lifecare Essentials GmbH (also referred to in this document as “Lifemode”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”; collectively the “Company”) collects/uses/discloses information about you when you use our app (the “App”), websites, mobile applications and other online products and services (collectively the “Services”) or otherwise interact with us. This information may be information that can identify you as a person or non-personal information and is either collected automatically or as a result of your specific input of the information while using our services (referred to collectively as “Information”). We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our websites’ homepages or sending you a notification). We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy. If you do not agree with this policy, do not download, register with or use our services.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect information you provide directly to us by use of the App and our other Services or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your username, password, email address, age, weight and height and any other information you choose to provide.

Information We Collect When You Use the Services

When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect information about you, including:

  • Usage Information: When you send or receive messages via our Services, we collect information about these messages, including the time, date, sender and recipients of the messages. We also collect information about the number of messages sent and received between you and your friends and which friends you exchange messages with most frequently.
  • Log Information: We log information about your use of our websites, including your browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, your IP address and the website you visited before navigating to our websites.
  • Device Information: We may collect information about the computer or device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, MAC address, unique device identifier, phone number, International Mobile Equipment Identity (“IMEI”) and mobile network information. In addition, the Services may access your device’s native phonebook and image storage applications, with your consent, to facilitate your use of certain features of the Services.   • Location Information: With your consent, we may collect information about the location of your device to facilitate your use of certain features of our Services, determine the speed at which your device is traveling, add location-based filters to your messages, and for any other purpose described in this Privacy Policy.   • Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to you. Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive or in device memory that help us to improve our Services and your experience, see which areas and features of our Services are popular and count visits. Information We Collect From Other Sources

We may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services.

Information Collected via Facebook

If you elect to complement your user profile in our services through Facebook you provide and grant us access to Personal Information. By electing to log in through Facebook you give us access to the personal information found there. This information is limited by your privacy settings and we recommend that you check these settings to ensure they are at the correct level. By logging in with Facebook you give us authorisation to access and store the credentials you provide and all data or information of any kind we obtain including but not limited to your name, email address(es), date of birth, gender, current city, likes, friend list, follower list, contact list, or any other personal information therein.

Use of Information

We may use information about you for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, maintain and improve our Services, including to provide additional features and content for your messages;
  • Provide and deliver the products and services you request, process transactions and send you related information;
  • Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service;
  • Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages;
  • Communicate with you about products, services, offers, promotions, rewards, and events offered by us and others, and provide news and information we think will be of interest to you;
  • Monitor and analyse trends, usage and activities in connection with our Services;
  • Personalise and improve the Services and provide advertisements, content or features that match user profiles or interests;
  • Link or combine with information we get from others to help understand your needs and provide you with better service;
  • Detect, investigate and/or prevent fraudulent, unauthorised or illegal activity; and
  • Carry out any other purpose for which the information was collected.

We may use the information we collect to display advertisements to our advertisers’ target audiences. Even though we do not disclose your personal information for these purposes without your consent, if you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement, the advertiser may assume that you meet its target criteria.

EU Jurisdiction

The Company is based in Austria and the information we collect is governed by Austrian and European Union (EU) law. By accessing or using the Services or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the processing and transfer of information in and to Austria and other countries.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of the Company or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, any illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

Sharing of Information

We may share information about you as follows or as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

  • With other users when you send them messages, including your username and the contents of the messages you send them;
  • Your username may be shared with other users who use the App and have your phone number in their device phonebook. In these cases, we will not display your phone number to these users, but we will share the fact that your username is associated with your phone number and that you are registered as user of the App;
  • With users and others who view your profile, which includes your username, your profile picture, and statistics about your activity in the App, such as number of messages sent, number of people addressed etc.
  • With vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;
  • In response to legal process or a request for information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with any applicable law, rule, or regulation, or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;
  • In order to investigate or remedy potential violations of our user agreements or policies, or to protect the rights, property and safety of the Company, our users or others;
  • In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company;
  • and, with your consent or at your direction, we may also share aggregated or de-identified information, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Business Transfers

We may sell, transfer or otherwise share some or all of its assets, including your Personal Information, in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganisation or sale of assets or in the event of bankruptcy.

Services Provided by Others

We may allow others to provide services on our behalf. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to collect information about your use of the Services and other websites, including your IP address, web browser, pages viewed, time spent on pages, links clicked and conversion information. This information may be used to, among other things, analyse and track data, determine the popularity of certain content and better understand your online activity.

International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the European Union and choose to provide information to us, we transfer Personal Information to Austria and other countries and processes it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

Links to Other Apps

Our App contains links to other websites and/or apps. If you click on another third party link, you will be directed to that third party’s website and/or app. The fact that we link to a it is not an endorsement, authorisation or representation of our affiliation with that third party, nor is it an endorsement of their privacy or information security policies or practices. We do not exercise control over third party websites and/or apps. These other websites and/or apps may place their own cookies or other files on your computer or device, collect data or solicit personal information from you. Other sites follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other websites and/or apps you use or visit.

Our Policy Toward Children

This App is not directed to people under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us: office@lifecare-essentials.com; If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.

 

Our Policy Toward People on a treatment

This App is not directed to people who are undergoing a medical treatment. If you are undergoing a treatment and want to use the advices in the app, pleas eget confirmation from your doctor. This app is not indended to be used in order to heal or cure but to provide knowledge about lifestyle.

Security

Reasonable Measures

We are very concerned with safeguarding your information. We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. We are not in the business of providing information security. We do employ limited data security measures, such as encryption, on some but not all systems. Do not provide your personal information if you are concerned with its disclosure.

Disclosures

We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored “personal data” (as defined in applicable state statutes on security breach notification) to you via email or conspicuous posting on this App in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

Phishing

Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to us. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your account ID, login password, or national identification numbers in a non-secure or unsolicited email or telephone communication. You have the ability to block specific users at any time by using controls within our Services.

Account Information

You may update or correct information about yourself by editing your account settings within our Services. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us:office@lifecare-essentials.com; Note that we may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or as part of our regular retention practices. We may also retain cached or archived copies of information about you for a certain period of time.

Device Information

Certain features of the Services require access to your device’s native phonebook and image storage applications (e.g., to find friends, to send a photo from your photo gallery via a chat, or to store a message in your device memory). If you choose to find friends, the names and phone numbers in your device’s native phonebook will be transmitted to us. If you later decide to revoke your consent and prevent us from continuing to access your phonebook and storage applications, you can do so by either changing the settings on your device, if this settings option is provided by your device operating system, or by following the standard uninstall process and removing our Services from your device. On iOS devices, you can grant or revoke your consent at any time and prevent us from continuing to access your phonebook and image storage applications by changing the settings on your device.

Location

When you first launch any features of our Services that collect location information, you will be asked to consent to our collection of this information. If you initially consent to our collection of location information, you can subsequently stop the collection of this information by changing the preferences on your mobile device. If you do so, certain features of our Services will no longer function. You may also stop our collection of location information by following the standard uninstall process to remove our Services from your device.

Push Notifications / Alerts

We may send push notifications or alerts to your device. You can deactivate these messages at any time by changing the notification settings on your device (iOS) or by changing your settings within our Services (Android).
